My friend and fellow epilepsy warrior, Megan Adams-West, is set to release her book Butterflies, Faith, and Recipes in June. Part memoir, part cookbook, Megan tells the story of her life in Johnstown going from her early diagnosis, to baking being part of her life, and the brain surgery she underwent. She opens up each chapter sharing beloved recipes used in her bakery or from family members. As being part of the book, I co-created the artwork for her book. After rereading the story once again, I realized she came a long way from being a class clown to being a culinary whiz. I am so proud of her!
