Okay, friends:
If you ever had an Electro EncephaloGram (EEG for short), you probably loathe the pseudo comfort of the lounger chair for the short term one or the hospital bed if you do the overnight Video version. Maybe, you had the portable one with your own Jeopardy! style button. The biggest question I always get after having one is What is the best method to remove the icky, sticky EEG gel/goop/glue from your hair? I have heard and read many different suggestions. A few include:
- Coconut oil
- Baby oil shampoo
- Peanut butter or some other nut butter (unless you or a loved one has an allergy to nuts. My sister does, so I skipped this one)
- Lots of shampoo!
- Alcohol pads (not the best on your hair, and it kind of burns on your scalp, too. Ick!)
- Dr. Teal's tea tree oil
I might have missed one or two (blame it on the memory fog). If you heard or have any interesting solutions to remove the nasty, sticky EEG gel/goo/glue, please fill out the contact form and let us know your ideas! Perhaps, your suggestion might help someone!
